Some products off-gas briefly. We select lower-odor lines for boutiques and ventilate overnight when possible.
Interlocking vs glue-down for Chicago winters?
Interlocking helps with cold slabs and future replacement; glue-down preferred for heavy continuous drops when moisture allows. Acclimation matters either way.
What thickness for Olympic lifts?
Often thicker tiles or platforms in drop zones — cardio areas can be thinner. Mapped on the load plan.
Can forklifts cross rubber aisles?
Light crossings need reinforced/sacrificial tiles; constant forklift traffic may need different material at intersections.
Outdoor playground rubber — freeze/thaw issues?
Drainage and system choice matter in Midwest winters. We don’t treat outdoor the same as indoor gym tile.
How soon can a gym reopen?
Interlocking may allow same-day reopen; adhesive systems need cure time per product data sheet.
